Could you pronounce these five words, because my French teacher has pronounced them with very different vowels than I usually hear and I need to know whether she has a weird accent or whether me, my old French teacher and google translate have been pronouncing them wrong 1. Quelqu'un 2. L'imparfait 3. Lundi 4. Maintenant 5. Cinq

Great and perhaps we should learn French as its spoken and save time by removing half of the French lessons 😉

It’s same in English, we don’t say “i say it to you” instead we say “I told you” or “I’m telling you” or “ I said it”

I’m from the sothern US, and we do that, too. We often drop the final g in action verbs. So, instead of reading, we say readin’. Same with sleepin’, runnin, etc. Sometimes we drop entire words and cram it all together; so “did you eat?” becomes “djeet?”

This is why I like to see the spelling. Some letter disappear and some are just silent. So I can kind of still see the letters in my mind when saying the word out loud, prob doesn’t make sense. Idk how to explain correctly! 💁🏻‍♀️
