I feel like, yes, they made black widow sexy, but the thing is her character uses it to her advantage in fights because her opponents underestimate her. yes yes, a lot of her introduction was fanservice in the first appearance, but it was to throw people off who may not have read the comics as well

Another thing I noticed is the complete lack of female friendships between them. Natasha, Maria, Sharon,Pepper and Wanda hardly ever interacted with eachother. It wasn't until phase 6 that we got a few of them.
