@blondedradio01: Happy 10th Birthday to "Blond(e) by Frank Ocean. "Blonde" By Frank Ocean is my favorite album ever. Ever since my first listen i've been obsessed with this album and at the time i didn't even know why. It was just something about this album that made me listen to it over and over again and after a while it hit me why this is the greatest album ever. Blonde is like the experience of life. From the happiest moments of your life on "Skyline To" to the lowest depression state you ever been in on "Seigfried" it tells it all. Blonde simultaneously tells a story of love, pain, and self discovery all at once. I go into more detail about each song's weight on my reviews of them but every song is a critical part to pieces of life. At the beginning on "Nikes" Frank is just an adolescent, yet to be hit with the hard lessons of life, each lesson learned in various ways. So through love, so through heartbreak. but by the end of the album he truly find himself on "Seigfried". He finally becomes the person he wants to be. He done living to society norms and decides to live outside. To be free, to be himself.
