I've worked with the Pass as well. I have not refined it yet. If you 'twist' the top packet by maybe 15° or so, the mechanics change. The 'travel' of the cards changes. Then you only need to clear the corner, which I believe might shorten the movement. I'm not refined enough to discern if it helps or exposes the method. Can you try it and repost a video. I'm curious, but not good enough at the Pass to test it. I need someone who's already REALLY good at the Pass to try it and tell me. If you do it, can you tag me so I can see if it works/does not work? You're Pass is amazing work. Thx!

Derek Dingle has a pass like yours, (from his book). It’s very casual without squaring the deck completely. You do it very well. The Dingle book is worth it btw.
