She was in psychosis. She also threw herself out of a window leaving herself permanently paralysed. She was genuinely, insane. The reason she didn’t receive adequate care (despite trying EVERYTHING) is because the medical system failed her. People are showing her empathy because women’s health issues are commonly ignored (I have experienced this before and I’m sure others in the comments have too), which results in extremely harmful outcomes - the death of her children being an incredibly heartbreaking tragedy. People are supporting her, because they understand that it could be themselves in Lindsay’s shoes one day. To all of the people saying “I would never hurt a child”, I’m sure you wouldn’t. Unless you were in psychosis, then you might.
