@delblubbo: avatar characters as houses of westeros basically just made too much sense. Azula and Zuko are Targaryens for obvious reasons. fire, family drama, power issues, the whole thing. Mai is Hightower and Ty Lee is Tyrell, with both houses being close allies in the south. Yue is a Stark. northern, dutiful, tragic, kind of inevitable. Katara and Sokka are Mormonts, loyal, stubborn and from the edge of the world but somehow always involved when it matters. Aang is Arryn, the sky connection is kind of obvious, but he also just fits the whole distant mountain house thing. Toph is a rich Lannister, except she’s very much the black sheep of the family and wants absolutely nothing to do with what’s expected of her. and Suki is from house Tarth, from the Sapphire Isle. skilled fighter, loyal, honorable, no unnecessary drama. #atla #atla #gameofthrones #got #fanfiction
