@entertainmenttonight: Hayden Panettiere's on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, has spoken out for the first time since her death via his lawyer. "Hayden's death remains under investigation, and it is important to allow that investigation to proceed," reads the statement provided to TMZ. "As has been publicly reported, police confirmed there were no signs of foul play." Brian and his brother, Zach, were with Hayden when she died on Sunday. He and Hayden were first linked in 2018, and he pleaded no contest to two felony domestic violence charges in April 2021 stemming from incidents involving the actress. The two had reportedly reconciled in March of this year. "Out of respect for Hayden's loved ones and the ongoing investigation, there will be no further comment at this time," the statement concludes.
