𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 (𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆) 🎾 We all have that partner — the one who feeds the smash, watches the opponents instead of the ball, and swings with the racket still down at their waist. Here is the good news: none of it is a talent problem. It is four tiny habits, and every single one is fixable in a week. Most missed smashes come from making contact behind the head instead of out in front at full reach — that is where all your power and angle actually live. Most missed volleys come from late preparation: the racket has to be up and turned sideways-on before the ball bounces, not after. And the reason your partner always feels a step slow? No split step. That little hop the instant the opponent strikes the ball is what lets you land balanced and explode to the first ball. The fastest fix is almost too simple: film one match and watch the misses back in slow motion. The pattern jumps out in about ten minutes, and correcting just ONE habit is worth three or four points a set. So tag them, send it, and go win those points together. 💪 Which of the four does your partner do the most — smashing from behind the head, or forgetting the split step? 👇
