@theresacurls: I’m looking at curly hair a little differently lately. 👀🩷 Instead of only asking, “Is this high or low porosity?” I’m learning to ask: How is this hair actually interacting with water?👀👀 My client takes incredible care of her hair, but we still had to look deeper to understand why she wasn’t getting the hydration I knew her hair was capable of. I couldn’t wait to bring this back to the salon to help my clients get a better understanding of truly hydrating their hair!💖💖 A huge part of this shift in my thinking has come from learning through @acaciiahair Fiber Ecology research and diving deeper into how the hair fiber functions and what true hydration actually looks like!!!☺️💖💫 Because sometimes your hair doesn’t need another product or a chart to help you understand how to properly hydrate your hair.🫶🏼 What I’m really learning is products are tools, but understanding the fiber is the skill.
