Most parents think the school funds will cover school supplies, my dad refused to get my school supplies because “it was the teachers job” but my teachers had to use their own funds to get lots of things for the classroom.

I’ll tell you why I’m a mom of 5 & it wasn’t until last yr my daughter teacher said don’t stress because we have a closet overloaded with everything needed bc of parents like us so this yr I did bare minimum now mind you my oldest is 23 & my baby is 6 years old

Exactly. Exactly. Mine are both in middle school and I've already reached out to everyone on both of their schedules and asked what they need for their classrooms. Not for my kid. For all the kids. You want 400 glue sticks? You bet your bacon, that will be delivered on day 2.
