I just spray them with Lysol or Windex and they put a bowl over it and they will die overnight and then next day just pick up and dispose in the trash can.

I hate bugs too. I found that nonbleach toilet bowl cleaner kills just about everything, and you dont have to get too close to the gross bug! When it is dead within seconds just use a broom and long handled dustpan to get it up.
