True story, I work for a huge corporation, 250,000 employees. Someone somehow got the entire email list and sent out a happy birthday message to a random person, and there were so many reply all of people saying unsubscribe me please that it crashed the whole company.

I got fired for challenging a SVP on the SOPs, clearly pointing out that what I expensed was explicitly outlined within the reference document in the company handbook as a valid expense. Apparently he just personally didn’t like it and rejected my travel claim. I got my job back two weeks later. I have subsequently quit lol
