@irishswedishfish: Two weeks ago, I broke free from a trauma bond. 🤍 And I did it. I’m healing. I’m growing. I’m staying sober. I’m choosing peace. Most importantly, I’m choosing ME. Trauma bonds are incredibly hard to break because they can feel like an addiction—you’re fighting your own brain while trying to let go of someone you loved. I was fighting for happiness and peace while simultaneously dealing with chaos, addiction, manipulation, accusations, reality being flipped, and someone who simply wasn’t capable of choosing me or showing up in a healthy way. Eventually, I had to choose myself. This chapter isn’t about them anymore. It’s about me. My healing. My sobriety. My happiness. My growth. My peace. Two weeks free. And every single day, I’m getting stronger. 🥹🤍 I loved them, but I love me more. And I finally chose me.
