No. Institutional education is absolute bull. Our kids are supposed to spend their entire day with you, but still have to do…homework??? And then work during the summer??? If you’re doing the job right this shouldn’t be necessary 🤷♀️This and like a million other reasons are why we homeschool now 🤦♀️

I used to start off strong and have them do some every morning while they ate breakfast. Inevitably, i was finishing it the night before trying to get my handwriting to look like a child’s.

As a Mom in Massachusetts, we live in East Bridgewater and we did our reading project, but didn't do the math. It's their summer vaca and I'm not doing it! There for my kids are not! The school had them 180 days, I'll take my 187 days making memories! I could care less what the school thinks, our family time is just as important as school🥰
