Yes girl! It does get better! Give yours 8 weeks to figure things out and check back in with yourself and you will see how things are so much better! Please remember, YOUR THREE WEEKS PP! you are soooooo freshly pp. give yourself SO much grace! The hardest thing about motherhood for me has been realizing some things just take time. Your can’t rush. Your can’t force things to go faster. Some things just take time.

I keep my "phone chores" for when I'm sitting down nursing. So I do my grocery delivery orders, paying bills online, answering emails, etc. it helps me still feel like I got something done!

You will miss those moments. But it is hard to just slow down and enjoy it, especially with your first. Definitely suggest starting a book while you do those feeds. 🙏🏻

The slowing down to bond and nurse baby is a very small part of your whole life. Enjoy these fleeting moments as they are temporary and when you are older, you will long for them again. 🩷

Time is a thief. Take each and every opportunity to enjoy time with your son. If you don’t, I promise you, you’ll regret it. He is going to grow so fast and you will NEVER get that time back. If there was one thing, I wished I would’ve listened to when I had my kids. It is what I just told you. You work so hard to conceive him. Why would you want to rush through this time? Your chores will be there sit down. Take the time to make eye contact smile memorize every inch of his face and just love him.

As soon as he gets so neck control feeding on the go becomes SO much easier and in my experience the leaking doesn’t last forever only the first few months while your supply evens out, you’re going great mama 🥰
