My daughter cried the night before, the morning of, the ride there and when we left… broke my heart. She’s a senior now- applying to med schools- with a thriving group of friendships and so many memories

my daughter did that... she decided she didn't want to go anymore. I told her if by Christmas she still wanted to come home she could quit then. she had so much fun and ended up going 5 years. change is hard but give it a try. you may surprise yourself

You made it into college- YOU did that- now go learn to be the person you’re going to be. Spread your wings, learn new things, fall in love, make mistakes, your parents will always be behind you.

Oh hun. It is ok to be scared and sad. These big life changes are hard. If you don't go through with it though you will regret it. Cry all the way there if you want. Cry the whole first week if you need to. But you owe it to yourself to go and genuinely TRY.

College is for some and not for others. Give it a bit but always remember if you’re not ready it’s ok! I wish to this day I stayed home the first 2 yrs. Good luck you may end up loving it!!

This place was never built to charm. Founded by Transylvanian Saxons in the 12th century, Sighișoara was designed to endure pressure, hunger, and threat. Nine defensive towers once ringed the citadel, each maintained by a different craft guild, turning labor into survival strategy. The Clock Tower, rising since the 1300s, served as gate, prison, armory, and timekeeper, its mechanism still counting days with monastic discipline. Vlad Țepeș was born here in 1431, long before legend distorted him into theater. Winter strips that mythology back to something colder and more honest: power, fear, borders, and endurance shaped by climate.
