This type of skit often references a contract. Is this a Canadian thing? In Va wage work is “at will” with no contracts. U can fall back on law and policy, but not a personal contract

Guessing this is not in the US? Salary Exempt Do not have set hour contracts, they also do not get overtime. Obviously Salary Non Exempt do get overtime, but rarely have set times in a contract, although lately th y just move them to hourly instead of salary non exempt.

my contract (normal in my country) first 2 hours after normal hours +50% and after that +100% every hours. first 8h after 40hours in week +50%, after that +100% every hour. and if i dont have free days, i get bonus worth of 12h.
