Couldn’t agree more. She’s 16 and I still have reservations about her spending the night places.

Sympathetic Diabetic :
I wish my mom had affordable cell phones back when I was diagnosed. my problem was never the babysitter because I was diagnosed at 13. the biggest problem was the freaking school nurse. the ones that follow protocol. protocol means one thing and one thing only and it means one size fits all.
it sounds like you got a good thing going because you actually have a friend/ cohort that has a sample of your child's life.
all of my mom's friends treated me like I was always doing something wrong

Johanna ✨ T1D Mom :
One of the things we T1D moms struggle with completely understand, but still don’t know how to help you not feel like that if I feel like that all day eveyday… 💙✨

I send mine off to kindergarten on the 31st. Only time she's left my care since diagnosis was diabetes day camp. I'm a mess! 😭😭😭
