What about mental abuse? Someone is always saying you’re useless or blaming you for everything wrong in their lives? For me I don’t want to keep reconciling that? I want to stay distant and pray for them and their peace but not to live in their chaos all the time? I forgive but I don’t want to live chaos all day & be made to be wrong all the time.

That was a good explanation! Can you explain the issues about the lack of findings for the major exodus described, Canaanite conquest, and Solomon’s temples/kingdom? These really make it hard for me to reconcile with the faith. I just don’t see how I can trust a book if I don’t know it’s not exaggerating things and having its own agenda or just viewpoint from culture and whatnot… other kingdoms exaggerated and had folklore to make claims to land. Which makes sense and seems like the Bible has done the same.. It just all runs in my mind.
