Uh this is very much like the comic look, we don’t actually care about if it’s tights, we don’t need it to be 1:1, it just needs to have a strong resemblance, which this does.

Technically it does prove you wrong because yes, there’s no way you can do the flexible metal stuff but translating that design into a mechanical suit proves it can work. The Endgame suit is literally that suit in live action.
