Mommy’s strong baby. Yesterday was rough for both of us, my blood pressure nearly bottomed out, they caught it at 70/33 luckily, took a lot of meds to get it back up even remotely close to normal, then throughout labor it continued to drop, at 8cm dilated Eli’s heart rate began to drop, we couldn’t get it back up and it was becoming an “act now” situation, I had to start pushing at 8cm and had to have the vacuum be used to help get him out, turns out the cord was wrapped around his neck twice. On top of all of that he swallowed about 5 ml of amniotic fluid, and wasn’t breathing on his own, after they got the fluid out and got him breathing he had to stay on oxygen for a little while until he was stable without.
