@anniecolleen__: MILOS mini guide🇬🇷 Who is planning to visit Milos soon? Honestly I loved MILOS 🤩 It is one of the most beautiful and unique places I have ever been and highly recommend it. Here is why you will love it too: THINGS TO DO: - Soak up the sun in the incredible fishing villages of Klima, Mandrakia and Firopotamos - Cliff Jump and explore the Moon Beach, Sarakiniko. Enjoy the incredible views! - Watch the sunset from Plaka (we got drinks to go and watched from the church) - Take a boat trip around the island and to Kleftiko to enjoy the stunning water and pirate caves - Looking for a unique experience? Stay in a traditional boathouse in Klima, Mandrakia, or Fyropotamos RESTAURANTS: - Medusa (Mandrakia) Perfect for a long and lazy lunch. Can’t reserve so go early and expect to wait 45 min - 60 min. Waiting is ok though, lots of beautiful places to lounge in the sun right by the restaurant. - O! Hamos! Tavern (Adamas) - Delicious family run farm to table restaurant open for lunch and dinner with beach bar in the front. More meat based, tavern style. Walk in only, wait about 30 mins-1 hr at the beach bar. -NAMA (Pollonia) - dinner tables on the sand on Pollonia beach. Amazing cocktails. Walk in with little-no wait. -DECK (Pollonia) - great for coffee,breakfast and lunch, turns into a bar at night, great views of Pollonia - Antakas Seaside(Klima) - we didn’t eat here, but heard amazing reviews.stunning sunsets directly next to the sea. Book in advance ACCOMODATION: - Akroploro apartments in Pollonia - Dream Boathouse Milos (Airbnb in Klima) BEACHES: - Firopytamos - Sarakiniko - port of Mandrakia (in the first pic) and Tourkothalassa - Fyriplaka HOW TO GET HERE? Take a direct flight from Athens or arrive by ferry from one of the Cycladic islands. HOW TO GET AROUND? You for sure need to rent a car, buggy, or 4X4 to explore the island. We got a small car and it was perfect and there is lots of parking everywhere. HOW LONG TO STAY? Min 3 days to enjoy this beautiful island.
