Dishwasher: Run a speed cycle with 1-2 cups of vinegar on the top shelf, helps get rid of the egg smell.

2k sqft house, I pay $150 in summer and I live in Houston Texas. The problem you have it’s your windows are probably a single pane, old door seals, not enough home insulation, and poor home efficiency.

Not to brag but look into solar power we in Texas ac running all year long hot weaves but my electric bill is less $200 every month doesn’t go up or down I’m just paying off the solar system I can leave my lights on all day and nothing happens solar panels are the best option also many old appliances drain your electricity as new appliances that reduce the electricity bills

July I paid $325. Were 3 in the house have a central unit and 3 mini splits, 3 TV, 8 cameras, but my house is newly remodeled w new walls, windows, insulation and I think thats helping keep my house cool. Seriously, my AC is set at 78 during the day and its very cool in here.

my wife used to turn ON the AC until I got home, around 5pm and then the AC ran all night trying to cool down the AC.
