People have a very misinformed concept of what classifies as overweight, obese, and morbid obesity. You do not have to look like 600lbs life to be morbidly obese. You can still walk & be obese. You can be under 180lbs & be overweight (height dependent)

BMI > 40 is morbidly obese. Morbid obesity is the actual term like the doctor wasn’t trying to insult, it’s the term. And people might say BMI isn’t best measurement but for someone able bodied there’s a level that is too high and affects your health.

As a girl with lupus? I was so fatigued ALL the time… I kept blaming it on my lupus. Yes I DO have extreme fatigue from my lupus. HOWEVER!!! Once I took accountability? And started working with a dietitian and a personal trainer who were able to work with my chronic pain and arthritis mobility issues? I went from 345 pounds to 234. I feel SOOOOO much better!!! The fatigue has gotten SO much better, it’s easier to manage, my chronic pain has gotten a lot better- I do still need my meds tho bc it’s lupus. Lupus is gonna lupus and it’s gonna hurt like a mofo sometimes. But being as fat as I was just made it all SO much worse. My GW I set with my team is 150 for my hight and body composition. So there’s a long way to go. But it HELPS to shed it!!
