it took me hurting them, losing them. to really look in the mirror. I’ll always miss them, & regret it everyday of my life. But I can’t feel guilt everyday. I’m becoming someone I was meant to become. I just hate it came with the expense of their feelings.

You know what's crazy is I thought he was hurting me or trying to. It took time for me to realize It was me who wasn't just letting love exist naturally. I was forcing him to perform it for me to validate myself and validate that it's love. Hard pill to swallow I thought I was trying to teach him what love was but he's the one that actually showed me what it really is. The freedom to be who you both are as individuals and let go. I was anxiously attached and relied on him to soothe my nervous system when that's something we need to have within ourselves. I think love grows in freedom, not holding on as tight as you can.

I wa stuck w my old behaviors and all the wrong that had been done to me I took it out on the one person that only deserved conditional love all he wanted was forever but I didn’t see that and only focused on my pain and didn’t realize I had a great man in front of me and hurts me everyday knowing I lost an amazing man i will love him forever and eternity. I understood he deserved more than me and I’m glad he found it
