Thank you for talking about DID at the end a bit. Also it ONLY comes from significant abuse, and it’s not just one traumatic incident that can cause DID but rather consistent high level of abuse happening so regularly before the age of about 8 to the point where the brain knows that if it aloud itself to remember everything that the child has gone through then it wouldn’t be able to continue developing so it instead separates off pieces of itself in order to “hide” some of the trauma from itself
