Try holding the plunger at the very tip to give yourself more control when inserting the lens. You also want to let go of your eyelids before you pull the plunger away. Your eyelids will hug the lens keeping it from falling. I’m a tech and I have shown multiple people how to insert their scleral lenses. You got this!!

Get the case that comes with clear care. Squeeze the plunger and put it on the lens then fill with solution. Press into eye and squeeze again to release the suction

I remember being where you are. I lay down a towel (white) so that I can both see from the bottom of the insertion tool plunger and the light. If it falls, it won’t break. I align with the light. No mirror needed. I stand too, I find I have more room. As well, try to scoop you top eyelid rather than pulling it open. Much easier that way! I hope it helps.

unfortunately the contact will rotate even with the dot . Idk why they tell us to make sure it's a certain way . Ive realized by having my Scerals is that we have to come up with certain solutions on our own . I cant tell you how much of what the doctor suggest Ive tried , and it just doesn't work out . Then I realize that I am the one wearning the sclerals and not them . I would never do anything to harm my eyes , but things to make the process more comfortable for me . Thats where tiktok comes in lol . Good luck with everything.

Yayy!! I’m not so patiently waiting on my first pair to arrive! This gives me hope! The fitting session made me nervous, I could feel them in and they promised I wouldn’t once they were custom to me!!

if you can ask your DR about getting a laser applicator its just like what you have now but there is a soft lasers at the bottom of it that you force on i have one and it 100% better then looking at a mirror
