The city was paying the officers Double time to work those World Cup Hours. Atlanta has to increase their budget by quite a bit to get the level of service that “International Guests” get.

Marta is fundamental at this point with the traffic issue. This needs to be top priority now, and expanding it. I think it’s TIME. We are too populated to be without transit transportation.

I 100% agree! I take Marta three times per week and you could see the absolute decline as soon as World Cup was over. Lack of security, some train cars not even having functioning air conditioning, homeless people being aggressive on trains. It is absolutely ridiculous and an absolute joke how quickly things changed.
