@capitalkingwave: I honestly wish Pep Guardiola had stayed for at least one more season. For me, he was the one manager who could make a title race against Mikel Arteta truly unpredictable. Even when Arsenal were eight points ahead of Man City, I still believed Pep could close the gap. Now, I look at the managers he left behind and I’m not convinced they can give Arteta the same level of competition. Pep always carried that fear factor, knowing his teams could produce an incredible run at any moment. That is why I’m watching the gap at the top closely. If Arteta takes Arsenal five points clear of second place, I honestly feel the league could be gone. Arsenal have the quality and confidence to protect that kind of advantage. For me, Pep staying would have made the season much more exciting.
