it has staying power because it ran a proper course. It had a good ending, every storyline wrapped up, there was very little filler content, it was an all around well done show and there weren't cash grab seasons like supernatural, castle, etc etc. Until I watched the good place, my "erase my memory show" was supernatural, and it doesn't hold a candle to the good place in my heart

I got my 12yo hooked on it as an in to discuss philosophy/morality with him. My 8yo started watching too. Now every night we say “I love you Jeremy Bearimy” to each other, which is every version of you through all times. Thank you for that. 🫶

I have watched this show probably 5 times and recommended it to everybody I know. Of course, it has also inspired a philosophy-themed DnD campaign where the message is about what we owe to each other ^_^
