As a chemist it’s my duty to tell you that the chemicals in the organic formula vs the chemical formula are exactly the same chemical composition. Just for clarification because I can feel the “see organic is better than chemical” crowd coming and I cannot emphasise how completely exactly the same chemicals are no matter the source

Will you try other organic fertilizers, such as homemade ones? Comfrey, banana peel tea, etc?

As an agronomist I feel compelled to add in that plants take up nutrients as inorganic ions, and the source of those ions does not signify for the plant. You need to have the right nutrients, in the right quantity and ratio, at the right time.

We've had no rain whatsoever and a hosepipe ban and I really thought my tomatoes would just die but they have thrived and I'm gonna have to make so much tomato sauce 😂😂😂
