@flakmagnet0: F-14B Tomcat of VF-143 "Pukin’ Dogs" I would love to see one of these back in the air. It would be a constant sellout, people would travel nationally and internationally just to see the only airworthy F-14 on the airshow circuit. It would be expensive to operate, but with appearance fees, sponsorships, merch, and ticket sales, a single Tomcat could absolutely generate enough revenue to sustain itself while preserving a piece of naval aviation history. Growing up on the east end of Long Island used to see them all the time flying out of the Grumman plant in Calverton……would love to see the Tom cat in the air again…..a 60 year old would be excited and smiling like a little kid

This was the Batavia, NY airshow back in I believe this was 1996. The pilot was dale “snort” snodgrass, and it was literally the best tomcat demo I’d ever seen.

Man when I was 5 the air show was going on and me and my dad were watching from a golf course next to the base an f14 screamed over head at like 500 feet inverted and I was running around going ballistic he flipped back over lit the burners and waved the wings I remember that shit like it was yesterday
