I feel you today's my 3rd day officially homeless. I have a backpack of clothes and my laptop (as a portable charger basically) but I have a job I sleep near it I just pray everything is gunna be okay and imma make my grandma proud one day.

If you can get to McKinney Texas(most cities will and pass a UA there is a wonderful Homeless shelter called the Samaritan inn. They will put you in a nice clean spacious room with 4 people (2 bunk beds), get you a job, transportation, quality meals 3x a day & classes. Over 6 months they will take a portion of your pay and put in in savings to buy you a vehicle. Once the 6 months is up they put you into their transitional apartment complex where you pay what you can on a sliding scale for the first year. After that it is only $400 a month for up to 3 bedrooms and you can stay for 5 years.

I was homeless for 3 months once but I had a car to live in, I can't imagine not having that luxury. God bless you.

Most churches don't give out food or assistance mosques and temples are super duper helpful so I'd say look around for one and ask for assistance (if needed) there!!

Hi girl as someone who was homeless two months ago. Make a list of restaurants and places near you and when they close, and ask "Hey can I charge my devices here". That way they don't think you're just there to loiter, and if you don't have some restaurant bathrooms having charging ports you can use in there.

libraries are a life saver, also, talk with kind homeless people, theyll show you where the soup kitchens are, free laundry, food give away, and places to rest, some cities even have a homeless Cafe where you can drink coffee or juices, they have one in Colorado.

Save up for a power bank. Good one is $25. You can charge your phone of it for 2 or 4 days straight before it needs a recharge
