The most underrated form of travel in this country. Almost everyone you mention this to will go “lol just fly or drive” and can’t fathom a form of travel where the journey is the point, not the destination. Sit. Read. Look out the window. Journal. Eat. Talk to retirees they’re chill af. I love the amtrak!

Hi, I don’t mean any judgement from you taking a train. I just know that me being claustrophobic, I can’t be on a vehicle for 52 hours. I don’t think it’s bad that you did it and I wasn’t tryna be mean with what I commented, I just know that it’s not for me but I’m glad that you were able to do it for yourself !
