this case has made me realize that critical thinking is becoming a lost art

They all missed day 6 when she agreed to the stipulation.

The one thing I have been screaming to the "Patrick did it crowd" is why on Earth would he call 911 and leave his only witness alive if he killed the kids? It escapes all logic.

The evidence exonerating the neighbors cat isn’t shown either. Suspicious

My biggest concern with this narrative that Patrick did it (which I personally do not believe), is that it downplays the serious nature of perinatal mental health. This is an already overlooked area of medicine and by downplaying the possible link only harms women further.

This is by no means a validation of his character or choices otherwise. If he did it he would’ve risked everything by allowing her to be saved. He’s either the smartest and luckiest criminal alive…or he just didn’t do it.

Exactly. Patrick isn’t the one on trial, so why would evidence exonerating him be presented in court?

Exactly. People are like “they didn’t even investigate Patrick!” of course they did omg. but he’s not on trial so they aren’t presenting that information

People don’t realize this isn’t a documentary, it’s a trial.

Personally I think he should be charged with criminal negligence resulting in manslaughter. To be considered clinically recovered from major depression minimum timeline is a few months of demonstrated stability, no polar is also months minimum, it had been less than a month since Lindsay sought inpatient care, she had told him she had thought of hurting the kids and herself, she was regularly meeting psychiatrists, and on several medications. There’s no universe where it was responsible to continue leaving the children with her unsupervised.

ALSO mind you, Patrick requested a lot of details about the children/autopsy/911 call not be made public!

People who always latch on to conspiracy theories tend to give way too much credit to human coordination and intelligence and it always amazes me.

Chain of custody was broken when Pat went back into the house after LE and EMS arrived and he touched the exercise bands and sat on the couch. This whole investigation was botched.

He also would’ve had to flown or something all the way from CVS, or been a master hacker and hack many different security cameras, Apple servers, and such. It’s insane.

I've been saying this until I'm blue in the face but there's no logic in their thinking and they argue or insult me for saying it. lol

This, on top of people thinking all evidence is at the behest of their own understanding. They can’t accept that they might not understand how a niche subject they didn’t spend 10+ years studying works. In their mind them not understanding = conspiracy or “iNcOnSiSteNcY.” A lot of unearned pride involved.

Ain’t no way she would sit through this trial hearing all these tortuous details if there was someone else at fault, no way!

YES! The defence is for Lindsay, not Patrick. The trial is about her and her actions. Focusing on things that make Patrick innocent wouldn’t make sense, just like prosecutors asking about “mortal sins” doesn’t make sense in this case. It’s uncalled for and unnecessary for the jury to hear because it’s inconsequential to the facts

People also get it in their head that "social media has solved crimes before" and it has. The difference is that Reddit, TikTok, etc. have solved UNSOLVED crimes. It has never found the correct suspect when the cops had already gathered enough evidence against a different person to prosecute them.

also, people are acting like just because this is the first time the public is seeing all the relevant evidence means it's the first time the defense is as well. the amount of social media "investigators" saying they figured something out and that ATTY Reddington needs to be aware like he hasn't had over 3 years to investigate the crime and been given the prosecutions evidence is wild
