@trial_trackers: Jurors heard Duane “Keffe D” Davis in his own words on Day 4 of his trial for the murder of Tupac Shakur. Prosecutors played an extended LAPD interview in which Davis discussed gang relationships, violence in Compton and alleged conversations he claimed to have had with Sean “Puffy” Combs concerning Tupac’s killing. Those statements are Davis’ allegations and do not by themselves establish that the alleged conversations occurred. Earlier, Devonta Lee testified about Orlando Anderson, the rivalry between the South Side Compton Crips and Mob Piru and an earlier confrontation involving Anderson and Death Row associates at Lakewood Mall. The defense also questioned Lee about his history cooperating with federal authorities after being caught trafficking drugs.
