same! and I have the same elevation pillow. I had trimalleolar surgery 8 weeks ago. I'm not cast free and wasn't given a boot. unable to weight bear due to the amount of swelling I still have. take the pain meds, ice pack as much as you can behind the knee, keep elevated and accept help. it's one hell of a ride but you got this

Yes! The nerve block is no joke! I just went through this and honestly it was bad.

Girllll take it from me, start your pain meds as soon as you feel the nerve block starts wearing off

Do not skip meds! Ice under knee, when getting up massage the top part of your leg for a few minutes and setting your leg down doesn’t hurt as bad

Set a schedule for those meds! I alternated Motrin and Tylenol around the opioids they prescribed. Set alarms for the meds for overnight, you won’t be able to sleep much the first few days anyway. Have a sleeve of crackers or something to eat with the hard stuff, they can wreck your stomach. Good luck, you got this 💪 lot of good resources here!

Make sure you are in top of the pain when the nerve blocker wears off. Trust me I went silent for a day and night. I’m finally in the ankle splint and I can walk. It gets easier good luck. ❤️
