I’m 30 with 100 in checkingd and nothing in savings because not everyone is privileged enough to be able to save like that. I had to walk to work when I was in high school and buy my own car which broke down and got kicked out the house and had to still barely afford rent and food and a way just to get to work. I didn’t have the option to go to school and make bank. I barely afford to eat. And fuck no it’s not because I didn’t work hard enough because I had 3 jobs and slept 4 hours a night and had to mooch food and water off of co workers just to get by. Physically impossible to work any harder, just not fucking privileged
