I was dumb and got cookies at the one by gate 16 as I left if I had gone to a different sweet marthas I don't think I would have waited more than 5 minutes at anything I did yesterday. Great day!

I always go up to the second or third person in line, give them cash, ask them to buy me whatever the thing is and they keep the change. It’s worked every time

We jumped in line for an hour and a half for the Amish donuts last summer. It was the first time we have ever joined in on the trendy fair food. It wasn’t worth it for the food, but it’s fun to do once in your life.

Don’t stand in line for that much time for food? agreed! Stand in line for 20+ minutes to see the crop art? 10000000%! As someone who is entering crop art for the first time this year, I’m so proud of my first piece and what I was able to do. I blew my own dang mind. But I’ve also been in the crop art community this whole summer, seeing what others have made, and HOLY SHEIT, people are doing some INSANELY CREATIVE, and talented things, I cannot wrap my head around it (myself included). But all this incredible art NEEDS to be appreciated. We had our last CA meetup last night before we have to turn in our pieces on Saturday, and when I got home I got damn emotional about it all.

Funny thing is…Peachy’s was at the Iowa State Fair a couple of years ago and I walked right up with no line on a Saturday afternoon. Crazy!

100% agree. Minnesota has a great baking history. Amish donuts, while good, are easily matched by bakeries all over the state. The only thing I stand in line for is Crop art.

I ate pickle pizza at 8:30 AM last year to avoid the lines and I go to a specific Sweet Martha's and have never had to wait more than one or two people!
