Part of Costco’s brand is that they are stocking good quality items. So if something breaks sooner than it should, definitely fine to bring it back. If you’ve had it for years and years then yea I’d call that abusing the policy

Why are people so butthurt like they own Costco or sum lol girl they would hate me I returned my cream color couches I bought 4 years ago before babies and of course they got hella stained/dirty because I got two kids now, Costco came picked up the couches and I didn’t even have to take them myself 🤭

as a costco employee it's really not that deep 🤷♀️. idk the only annoyance i have is when people try returning things that are almost 10 years old with no barcode or receipt. I've seen some wild returns but most of the time I really don't care 🤷♀️

I honestly felt like a tool when I used the return policy. I bought a standup desk from them. It had a wireless charger built in. The display model worked great. I got home and plugged it all in and got it all set up and set my phone on the wireless charger. I came back five minutes later and noticed that my phone was not charging. But it was also super hot and the charger was even hotter. I gave it a minute to cool down and try again and it was no longer working. But the up-and-down feature of the desk kept working. I kept it for three years until I was planning to move. I took it there even though I didn't have a membership anymore and they offered me to exchange or return. I exchanged at the time because I wanted to try it again. Same thing happened so I just returned it.

Costco is the best. We bought a leather sectional from them like a year and a half ago for almost 4K. One of the reclining pieces broke and wouldn’t return to its normal position. They refunded us the WHOLE amount. Came and picked up the sectional. We ended up purchasing a different sectional from them and they delivered the new one too! Fantastic customer service.

People were talking about the dumb things they do with grant from funding at school as a joke or not a joke but now they changed the funding for grants and loans for school tuition and I just want people to remember the power of good and bad with social media when posting stuff like this I think we forgot jokes with our fiends and family aren’t the same with work and companies and big corporations LOL
