I am a 63-year-old mother of three. Ages 36,35 and 34 each married with two babies.. and ….. I still worry about their safety to this day. I send them safety reels from ex-CIA, FBI and Police. I just want them to be Safe. I realize it’s part of the territory of being a Mama. It does get better. It doesn’t go away and I don’t think it should. Our job is to protect them and teach them how to protect themselves. (And now their sweet lil’ babies🩷💙)

so i was just like "huh i wonder how Loren's doing after the baby haven't seen her on my fyp in a while". and first thing I see is this 😳. it is biological and a expected postpartum response but also girl please get help if it's preventing you from going places or especially sleeping. postpartum mental health is a wild trip, take care of yourself too.

PPA sucks. A year from now you’ll laugh. I thought for sure my baby was going to fall off the side of a cruise ship… We are no where near a cruise ship 🤣🫠🫣

I have 5 children. 3 still living at home. I still sneak into their room and make sure they are still breathing.

It never goes away but it does get better. It’s your natural maternal instinct to protect your child

Ugh, I’m sorry. I’d say it gets easier, but they get bigger and there is scarier scenarios.

I didn't have the fear of snatching, I had fear of misdiagnosis. I had 6 thermometers bc I didn't trust the readings on just one, I went to the doctor for everything, I had schedules about appendicitis symptoms etc. For the second one, I was much more cool. The first one is a learning process.

Mines 6, it doesn't get easier. And the scenarios just get more elaborate. But also means you're being a good mom and protecting your child

When I was in the hospital after having our son I was sure that he was going to fall out of the window behind my husbands cot despite them being secured closed. I was also sure that if I didn’t watch him constantly while nursing that I would smother him with my breast(I’m busty). Then when I went back to work (night shift) that if my husband didn’t respond right away to text or calls that they were both dead or in mortal danger despite owlette sock and camera

This has been my brain for 20 years. At some point I just learned to accept this is my brain now and as long as I am irrational and worried nothing will happen and everything is fine 😬🤷🏻♀️
