with my second child the midwife said " don't you want to try natural child birth"? I said " as long as he comes out the spot he's supposed to and not my nose, we're calling it natural" 😆🤣🤣🤣

I dont understand the need for women to prove themselves by not getting pain relief (i guess I do, because I tried to tough it out at first). Just get this baby out safely. I dont need to feel the pain to give birth successfully.

I had a 42 hour labor, 8lb 12oz baby, with a 2nd degree tear unmedicated because I’m so terrified of the epidural 😆 I saw an epidural needle when I was 13 and immediately said “oh that will absolutely not ever be near me”

I had a epidural with my son and they had to remove it because it made his heart rate plummet. So I had him naturally but not by choice! 0 out of 10, do not recommend 🤣

My spontaneous births I did not need an epidural but for number 4 I was induced with Pitocin and I should have got an epidural 😅 luckily

Ohhh man. They had me sit up with my legs over the edge. I just had to ask my husband because I only remember him holding me.. he was like no there was two nurses holding you and he was kinda behind me holding my shoulders to make sure I sat up straight. I must’ve hurt the nurse I was holding onto because there was a contraction during the process. But I found it a pretty easy and didn’t feel a thing but the contractions were AWFUL

I’ve always loved the epidural and it doesn’t hurt the numbing part stings but the actual epidural doesn’t hurt because they numb you it’s just a weird clicking in your spine it feels like least for me but yeah both my kids epidural for sure

I loved my epidural. It worked exactly how I wanted it to because I could still feel all the pressure I needed to know when to push. Also I could still move my legs for when they needed to put me in different positions, which confused the nurses. Because of that they kept asking me if I was feeling any pain or just pressure, and I never felt pain🤷♀️

I only had one epidural for a last minute c-section after 24 hours of labor with my oldest. Whatever they did was excruciating & the anesthesiologist laughed at me for being in pain. I felt like I had hypothermia & threw up non-stop until noon the next day. Then had permanent nerve pain in my lower back that still pops up 15 years later. I refuse to ever have another one.
