The foam is to be fully saturated overnight so the fresh cuts will have something to drink. As long as you put a tray underneath, this would work.

This is exactly what I’m doing for my October wedding, I just picked up the rest of the vases today! Thank you for the awesome idea and don’t worry I’m not using real flowers so the foam doesn’t need to soak lol
