If it was just food, I would be more likely to let one slide. Times are tough and we have a survival instinct especially if you have kids. But, when you start stealing electronics and other things it just greedy. It’s no longer a survival thing. I have paid for people’s groceries or made up the difference when they don’t have the entire amount. I hope she learns and gets back on track.

This cop must be having a bad day. In my experience, I have sometimes felt that certain officers have been unnecessarily rude, while others have come off as nicer and more respectful. That has been my experience when dealing with the police.
