I have frozen shoulder now but I've had c7 compressed nerve even after surgery. also have a thyriod nodule found in a mri that I had for the neck. non cancer. I'm like what is going on!

I had it, about 2 to 3 years before I hit menopause. NO DOCTOR EVER MENTIONED THAT IT COULD BE RELATED TO PERIMENOPAUSE!!!!! And I was treated by my general practitioner, Orthopedic Surgeon, AND had physical therapy. So sad!!!

But doctors won’t put us on HRT. Shoulders, hips, and the loss of estrogen can cause asthma. Why must we fight for HRT?

I have frozen shoulder right now. I’d highly recommend getting on bioidentical HRT (for me the estradiol patch and micronized progesterone), doing PT, and seeing a shoulder orthopedic doctor for an ultrasound guided cortisone shot if needed (I did need it and it helped a lot).

Surgery for frozen should bc ortho said “women my age” get this. GP was no help with questions about HRT, neither was my gyno. Why can no one help???

What blows my mind is when I went to my doctor for this she had no clue, she did sent me for an MRI, but two specialists later and I had to make my own diagnosis based on the internet. Women’s healthcare is so neglected.

I’m on HRT, first left shoulder then both shoulders and now Rt wrist! Left shoulder has been more that two years!! 😩

Yep it happened to me with my left shoulder. Over time, maybe 6-8 months, it lessened and resolved itself.

Have this for 7 years now.. On HRT (a year now) but its slowly getting a little better.. a little. Went to different doctors and NOBODY told me this was because of menopause. They had no idea, I had to learn to live with this

Girlllll I went through this!! One day I woke up with a useless painful shoulder then 1-3 years later I woke up and it worked again with no pain!!
