@josiebulman: A quick core workout junior basketball players can use to improve trunk strength and stability 🏀🔥 Something I’ve noticed even when coaching senior players is that if someone isn’t enjoying or engaging with the gym, adding a basketball can make a big difference 🤣 It might seem silly, but sometimes just holding one is enough to make an exercise feel a little more basketball-specific and keep younger athletes engaged. That’s why I’ve included the basketball in these exercises - you definitely don’t need it, but if you’re working with kids who aren’t really buying into strength training yet, it can be an easy way to make training a little more fun! For sets + reps, a good starting point is: 👉🏽 2–3 sets 👉🏽 8–12 reps per exercise (or each side) 👉🏽 20–30s for any holds And you definitely don’t need to do ALL of them! Pick 3–5 exercises and create your own little core circuit! 📲 SAVE this video and give some of them a go! #coreworkout #basketballcoreworkout #kidsworkout #youthbasketball #basketballstrengthandconditioning
