📩 Send this to a friend who loves colorful plants! 💜💗 🌱 MATERIALS: • Healthy Tradescantia Purple Heart stems • Healthy Tradescantia Nanouk stems • Fresh, well-draining potting mix • Planter with drainage • Clean scissors • Small gardening scoop • Water 🌿 METHOD: 1. Select healthy stems from both Purple Heart and Nanouk. 2. Cut the stems with clean scissors, making sure every cutting has at least one healthy node. 3. Remove flowers and any lower leaves that would be buried in the growing medium. 4. Cut longer stems into smaller sections while preserving healthy nodes. 5. Arrange Purple Heart and Nanouk cuttings throughout the container, mixing the varieties to create an even distribution of purple, pink and green foliage. 6. Place the nodes directly into or against the fresh growing medium. 7. Lightly cover the nodes with additional potting mix while keeping the foliage above the surface. 8. Water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain. 9. Keep the growing medium lightly moist while the cuttings establish and provide plenty of bright light. 10. As the cuttings root and produce new shoots, regularly pinch or prune longer stems to encourage a denser, fuller mixed display. 💜💗🌿 💚 Pro tip: Use multiple short cuttings distributed across the entire pot rather than a few long stems.
