@caitybarty: I’m so lucky the system didn’t fail me and my baby girl, sadly can’t say the same for Lindsay. PPD and PPP need to be more spoken about. #lindseyclancy #ppd #fyp #awareness #singlemom

I am so proud of you for posting this!!! It is one thing to share parts of your story online but to post something as vulnerable as this in hopes it helps other mamas is such a strength. PPD PPA and PPP are NOT talked about enough. So many people out there are dealing with this thinking something is wrong with them when really it’s a common thing that feels too scary to get help for. I’m so glad you got the help you needed and I truly hope other mamas struggling find this video ,feel seen and feel able to reach out for help! These feelings and thoughts do not make you a horrible human!!!❤️

Thank you Caity for talking about this, too often people are scared to ask for help, in fear of looking like a bad mum. When the opposite is true. The more this is talked about the better for mums struggling. You are a wonderful mum to Skye ❤️

So many Mothers are scared to admit their thoughts, especially while it is happening and they know it's not the real them thinking those things, so many never tell a soul. Lindsay was crying out for help over and over and over. Something many were too scared to do and there was no real help, almost like the medical experts are just ticking boxes on a form to say that they did their “job”.

Thank you so much for being brave enough and strong enough to share this. By doing so you are spreading even more awareness and starting more conversations that need to happen. PPD, PPA and PPP are way more common than people think. I struggled so hard after the birth of my 3rd daughter 2 months ago. I breezed through pp with my older 2 girls so never expected to be hit with PPD and PPA. Doing better now.

so true, i suffered with pnd for 8 months before a friend told me I needed to go to my gp, I'd never let anyone look after my 2nd baby & never left him until he was 3.5 years old with his dad & I cried the whole time I was away from him. fast forward he's now 23 & I still.suffer with depression. No depression with my 1st who was a much harder baby than my 2nd he was a dream baby

I feel this. I had my baby at 21 and I hated being at home alone with her as a new born. I’d drive up to my mum’s daily just so she could help me . This should be spoken about more. I feel like this is a taboo subject and people don’t take this seriously.
