Solar eclipses are an absolutely amazing experience. I’ve seen 2 of them so far. I saw the 2017 one in TN and as soon as it turned dark, all the crickets and evening sounds came out and then just as quickly disappeared as it ended. Insane! I saw this last one as it traveled across Texas. Very cool! I also recently found out that my great-grandma was a solar eclipse chaser in the early 1900’s (she was an astronomer). Those full eclipses made me feel a connection to my ancestors. 🥰 I would LOVE to chase solar eclipses. Everyone should see at least one in their lifetime. 😎

I saw Charlotte’s video first. Your reaction made me shed a few tears. So happy that you got to experience such a special moment in a way that wasn’t overstimulating. Thank you for sharing that with us!

It's absolutely incredible and what a cool experience! I got to see one in my province (Ontario) a few years ago. The darkness and the quick dip of the cool air was not expected - especially since we were on a beach!

my partner, a good friend and his boyfriend all met in Valencia to also watch the eclipse and it legit changed all of our lives. no pictures or videos do it justice. We also found a spot on the outskirts to watch it that just has a few other people around us, but luckily absolutely no crowds (I'm also autistic). I'm so happy your experience went well 💖💖💖
