It’s just a genuine question: why do some white women who date Jamaican men feel the need to start speaking Patois? Why not just speak the way you did before you got into the relationship? It’s not like you need to speak Patois to communicate with your partner. I’ve always wondered why some people feel the need to adopt the way their partner speaks when they can communicate perfectly well without it.
